Our Azusa Alumni Message Board

Established January 19, 2001 at DelphiForums.com, it ws a very successful and busy message board. After 10 years and 174,680 posts  the birth of Facebook drew people away and we have been dormant. Now with all the concern over Social Media privacy, we are reopening, why not give our original message board a try! Delphi’s platform has many features to protect your privacy that we have implemented on our message board.

It is a subject based design (FaceBook is person based). Posts are arranged by Topics. Don’t like all the political stuff on on your Social Media feed? Ignore the “Politics” topic folder. Love politics? That’s OK Too.

Tired of some bozo from Timbuktu making rude comments to you? Our message board only has one public topic folder, clearly marked. The rest of the message board can only be seen by approved members.

The only thing we ask is to keep your posts in an appropriate topic folder, we can help with that, and to be respectful to each other.

 – It’s free (or paid if you wish)Free vs. Paid Membership
 – It’s hosted and moderated by Azusa Alumni.
 – Only approved members can read and post.
 – You pick what you read.

Currently working on the Jackson Hole Community Band’s new design.

You can find the live site here: www.JHCBand.org

We are a group of musicians with “day jobs” that play music together for the joy of it. All volunteers, we hail from backgrounds as diverse as engineering, law, real estate, and the clergy and range in age from early-teens to the eighties.

Newcomers, walk-ins, and visitors are always welcome. If you can read music and have some experience please dust off your instrument and join us. Many of our members have had a 20 to 30 year gap when they joined the band. Our conductor selects a variety of music to challenge all abilities. We rehearse Thursday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 upstairs in the Arts Center performing arts wing, between Glenwood & Cache. Our season runs from September through the Fourth of July, with brief breaks at Christmas and Spring Break.

College credit through Central Wyoming College (CWC) available. Go to http://jhcband.org/member-resources/ for more information.

We have 3 more rehearsals before our Winter Solstice Celebration concert. If you are thinking about joining us come sit in with “your section” and meet our members. 12/4, 12/11, & 12/18
